Jazmín, the trio formed by Enrique Novoa on vocals and guitar (Nogato), Jorge Pesquera on drums (Aiko El Grupo, Recreo), and Pablo Jarel on bass (Pablo Diablo, Bruma Club), finally releases its long-awaited EP. Recorded during the summer of 2022, it had remained shelved until now following the band’s dissolution at the end of 2023, just one year after their first live performance.

The premise behind the design was clear: to create a work that would function as a cohesive whole, both on cassette and across digital platforms. Drawing inspiration from classic Blue Note album covers and the cassette designs of Washington’s 1980s scene, the main challenge was to convey that sense of elegance while capturing the band’s many different influences.
